Dr. Charlene Fobi - Treasurer
Charlene Fobi is a Board Member and resident of the Parks of Stonecrest. She retired from a 34 year career as a Registered Nurse Educator and 41 years as a Registered Nurse. Charlene holds an Associate Degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Nursing Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. She also holds a degree of Doctor of Education Institutional Management from Pepperdine University. Charlene served as a nursing faculty, Assistant Department Chair and during the last 10 years of her tenure, as Department Chair. She wrote several grants that were funded, oversaw the administration of grant activities and funds and served on various community and professional boards.

Julian W. Beckford, MD - President
Julian W. Beckford, MD is the founder and President of the Parks of Stonecrest Community Civic Association Educational Fund, a research driven, non-profit and non-partisan organization dedicated to increasing the scientific and academic and artistic performance in the Parks of Stonecrest and the surrounding region. In 2012, the Parks of Stonecrest Community Civic Association, Inc. (a 501(c)(4) nonprofit) awarded Dr. Beckford Special Commendation for his “valuable contributions to the fiscal wellbeing” of the Parks of Stonecrest Community because of his community organizing work in a fundraising drive for the benefit of the Neighborhood Watch program and the young people of the community. Dr. Beckford learned from that experience that the finances and the general welfare of the community could be improved with well coordinated group action. As a result, the PSCCA-Educational Fund ,a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit was founded to augment the other forces for good in the community.
